He is also a Youth Development Specialist that has worked with several Governmental and Corporate organisations both in the UK and internationally to create programmes aimed at engaging and empowering youths and tackling youth unemployment.

With a unique ability for helping individuals birth and live out their full potential and awaken the leader within, he trains and consults with thousands of individuals, Small Businesses and Large Corporate Organisations yearly across the UK and Africa. He has also coached and trained employees at different levels within several organisations including CEOs, Directors and Senior Managers. Clients include multinational companies from different sectors such as Telecoms, Banking, Technology and many more.

He specialises in helping organisations increase their overall profitability by optimizing the productivity and performances of employees across all levels. Over the years, he has created and delivered a range of Leadership, Management, Career Development and Soft skills programmes for different types of organisations.

A graduate of Kingston University in the United Kingdom, Opy received his training at The Coaching Academy, the UK’s largest and number one coach training organisation. He has also been nominated and won numerous awards including the Award for Entrepreneurship Empowerment to the Nigerian Youths and Author of the Year 2013.

Opy’s first book titled ‘Turn Your Passion Into Your Profession’, was launched at the UK House of Parliament in 2012 and has since gone on to become an international Best-Seller.

He has spoken on various international platforms including universities, religious institutions, corporate organisations and other renowned institutions such as the Lagos Business School, Nigeria where he was invited as the main Keynote Speaker during the 2013 Global Entrepreneurship Week programme. He has also been featured in several newspapers and magazines internationally including The Nation, Nigeria, ThisDay, Nigeria, The Voice, UK, Daily Graphics, Ghana and Business and Financial Times, Ghana, where he is an Entrepreneurship columnist.

In 2014, he was announced as the only Nigerian ambassador for the newly launched Dreams

Campaign by Webster University in Ghana. The campaign is aimed at raising the aspirations of Ghanaian youths and it included billboard campaigns, radio, TV and newspaper adverts. He has also been featured in The Making of the Mogul, a programme that travels across the world, profiling up and coming African entrepreneurs. It was shown on TV across 37 countries in Africa.

With a passion for youth development, Opy founded the Passion To Profession Tour which travels across universities, churches and different cities, raising a new generation of entrepreneurs and leaders. He also founded the Business Start-Up Academy, A platform created to help individuals realise their entrepreneurial dreams and aspirations.

He has consulted for several Government organisations including the Lagos State Government, Nigeria, Job Centre Plus and Department of Works and Pensions in the UK. He also sits on an advisory board for the UK National Probation Trust where he advises on policies and initiatives to rehabilitate exprisoners and gang members.

He is the founder and Group Managing Director of Proten International, a human capital development firm with head offices in the UK and Lagos, Nigeria.
